International Day of the Dot -- September 15, 2015
The kindergarten through 5th grade students at Woodsdale celebrated the International Day of the Dot. The Dot by Peter Reynolds is the story of a kind teacher who dares a struggling student to make her own mark and see where it takes here. A small dot in the center of a piece of paper turns into a whole art show and a little girl who is so confident in herself she finds herself helping others to make their mark. More than 4,000,000 people in 16 different countries have celebrated Dot Day since its beginning in 2014. Here are some of our creations for you to enjoy.
